At my work I get a lot of time where I'm able to listen to podcast, but I've become a bit bored with my usual list of shows and want to try something new.

I usually listen to history, politics and film pods, but am open to anything really. Does anyone have good recommendations?

Manchester (she/her)

If you're interested in Russia-Ukraine discussions (it's surprisingly uplifting) Silicon Curtain is a good listen.

West Herts

Hardcore history is the best history podcast I have come across. Insanely long series about an individual topic, well researched and comprehensive.

The Influence Continuum is good if you're interested in undue influence and leaving cults

Spy Talk - US intelligence and counter intelligence

Conversations by ABC Radio National (Australia) - a long form conversation with an interesting person

That describes me pretty spot on, haha - so I'll check those out.

Also, used to live in Australia, so remember listening to the Interview show live on the radio. With Margaret Throsby, is that right?

Richard Fidler. Been on since I was a teenager.

If you're still a bit connected to Australia the Radio National catalogue might be worth a look in general
