Theres a common theme in this thread, and that is that with the exception of a couple of comments, all choices are from older bonds.

Correctly i might add.

Newer bonds, whilst excellent movies, suffer from the modern day affliction known as shit music

'The Living Daylights'. 'A View to a Kill' is second.

I also have a soft spot for 'The Man With the Golden Gun', mainly because it's delightfully daft.

Human by Goldfrapp…although the film producers are too stupid to ask them or Portishead to write something- preferring to use whoever is flavour of the week then lost in obscurity at the time the film is released, hence why the theme tunes are forgettable turds waiting for a good flush these days

"Not my favourite, but the best was Goldfinger. I liked All time high by Rita Coolidge. "

my fav.

Sung by Shirley Bassey

Goldfinger

He's the man, the man with the Midas touch

A spider's touch

Such a cold finger

Beckons you to enter his web of sin

But don't go in

Golden words he will pour in your ear

But his lies can't disguise what you fear

For a golden girl knows when he's kissed her

It's the kiss of death from

Mister Goldfinger

Pretty girl beware of this heart of gold

This heart is cold

Live And Let Die, Song by Paul McCartney and Wings

This and Goldfinger I'd say are my favs. In every respect. 007 Sean Connery (nr. 1) & Roger Moore (2nd fav.) as well as the theme songs.

When you were young

And your heart was an open book

You used to say live and let live

But if this ever changin' world

In which we live in

Makes you give in and cry

Say live and let die

Live and let die

Yeah live and let die

Live and let die

What does it matter to you

When you got a job to do you got to do it well

You got to give the other fella hell

You used to say live and let live

But if this ever changin' world

In which we live in

Makes you give in and cry

Say live and let die

Live and let die
