It's a tough one. Is it hilariously witty and funny, or will it offend?

You should know if it crosses the line between acceptable or bullying/offensive.

But that lines different for everyone. Post and hope for the best.

Just say it. Well do what you want but so long as you know there may or may not be consequences and accept them then no reason not to say what you feel.

As should be the way with everything.

Say it as long as it's within the rules of whatever platform you're using to express your thoughts.

If people are offended you have to accept that and either apologise or ignore their offence. If people find it hilarious you're fine

I’m constantly asking myself that question and still post stuff that offends people. I always apologise if I feel I should, and sometimes it bothers me if I care what that person thinks, but mostly move on.

More often that not, my inner jester is saying “fuckit, it’s funny so post it!”

I would never deliberately offend anyone... But sometimes language is a blunt instrument and being around these fora for a while now, so many folks seem to take robust offence at seemingly innocent mistakes... If not for themselves, on behalf of other folks. It feels a bit of a tightrope at times.

That's quite offensive to circus performers op.
