The Neath valley, in my opinion is the most beautiful in the country. I've seen it in every shade and hue, spring, summer, autumn and winter when working away. To me as I come over Hirwaun roundabout, and see Glyn Neath nestling in the vale in mist or baked in sunshine, knowing that off to the west is the national treasure of waterfall country, then on past the lake on one side with the Neath canal on the other, with swift flowing river views in between, then over Resolven roundabout, and past the Aberdulus falls, and on to llandarcy then home. It's almost like the car is a pigeon that knows it's own way home.
