"I’ve sunbathed for the last few weeks (But was in the Caribbean) " Don't remind me! Since I retired in 1997 I was going to the west Indies every January/February. usually Tobago sometimes twice and occasionally another island. This went on until lockdown, during which my passport expired and I haven't yet been over to my home island to renew it. I used to have a head start with a tan, albeit not quite all over, ready for the Eureka sunbathing season which then sees me through until October. I could not live all year round in the tropics as I don't want darkness at 6.30 pm every night of the year, or high humidity for that matter. At least going there in winter you get a few more hours of sunshine and everything dries quickly. | |||
