If you recognised someone on here from a vanilla environment (nightclub, park, supermarket) would you message them on here? And why not just introduce yourself in person?

I’d go for option 3.

Cut out letters from newspapers and make a note to leave them in their vanilla environment that just says ‘I know’ and hope they see the romantic side.

In case anyone is wondering, yes I AM free on Valentine’s Day

No. But I’ve had the opposite and it’s fucking weird.

I wouldn't do either but if I wanted to make contact I'd do it on here. People don't always welcome approaches in civilian life

I think I'd just wander round waiting to find a hand written note saying "I know"

Its the little touches that make romance fun

"No. But I’ve had the opposite and it’s fucking weird."

I’ve been on here 3 months and it’s happened both ways. I’m not sure how I’m feeling about it. Conflicted.

"No. But I’ve had the opposite and it’s fucking weird."

Had a guy do the same to me. Freaked me out to say the least. Especially when he used my other name.

in the past 12 hours, ive had someone literally 'quack' at me at a petrol station (no, i kid you not), and 2 messages from people who saw me out and about earlier (one had taken a picture of me and was like 'is this you?').

honestly, the mind boggles!

personally, im not about it.

i get it goes hand in hand with plastering pictures of yourself on the internet, but there's a time and a place.

"If you recognised someone on here from a vanilla environment (nightclub, park, supermarket) would you message them on here? And why not just introduce yourself in person? "

The odds on someone recognising us on here are slim to none.

We hide our faces, our ink and personal details about us aren't 100% accurate (my name & age for example). We don't publicise our location, use 'who's near me' or share work/job info.

If you have your face on show, tell people where you work in forums, put your location accurately even though the population of the village you live in is 26 and the other 25 people are all pensioners, then you're increasing the likelihood of being identified.

Great if you don't really care. But of course it will also impact family, children, work colleagues, friends and neighbours. And they of course may not be as receptive to you being as open.

Just a thought!

If we covered all our ink there would be no pic lol

I’m not overly bothered about people knowing we are on here - it’s just sex .

Here, There and Everywhere

I've purposefully kept anything identifiable about me hidden. Don't need to be out with friends/family etc and have someone think it's ok to "Fab Out" me.
