Absolutely nothing of real note will happen to them.

Slap on the wrist. Fine. Transfer embargo for a season

Imagine if they get a retrospective points dedication for each of the season they've been charged over.

Spurs might actually get their hands on a league title (ROFL)

They may get a points deduction. I know Juventus got a recent 15 point one.

Seems quite telling that it’s come to light this year when a points deduction won’t make much difference whereas other years it would make a massive difference!

2 points per season will do fine. 2 more PL titles for Liverpool, happy days

Juventus got theirs for match-fixing and bribery...not sure it's quite the same?

I know it's not. Just talking about punishments being handed out.

Yeah, I got that - I meant to add that there are precedent punishments for FFP, so points deduction would be unlikely?

If you look at a similar case in the English league (although this was back in the 90s) Swindon Town were demoted from the Premier League down to League One for similar issues to City's

UEFA/FIFA set FFP up in 2012, I think? What happened to Swindon was back when control was firmly in the hands of national football leagues. They'll probably get a transfer ban like Chelsea did...

They were fudging their books to make it seem like the money they were spending was from legitimate self-sustained practices? I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.

Indeed. Let me take a seat while I digest this news. See you here in 17 years when they decide the same about Chelsea.

9 years. 100 charges. Leagues won in the meantime. No court of arbitration. 4 years building the case. No statute of limitations. I reckon this could be relegation.

Chelsea going ridiculous, Saudi in a Newcastle, prospective new owners at man United and Liverpool. Would serve to send a warning to others too.

Points deduction, Pep gets the hump with City and sees the light and moves over the Pennines to Leeds………..Carlsberg don’t do football fair play investigations !!!

Absolutely correct! That car wash with 2 employees sponsoring City for 50million a year for the next 10 years is totally legit.

Since they were doing this over a period of 9 years I would give them a 15 point deduction for each of the next 9 seasons….. make it a proper deterrent
