So we all know good lighting and camera angles can make a world of difference to a photo.

Who's happy to share their secrets for how they get the perfect shot? X

Prop, point, pose....timer.

Voila.

Never spent more than 5 mins on any pic including editing and adding a watermark.

Point the light. Set the tripod up. And fuck while we click away with the Bluetooth device. Delete 250 photos because the mrs gets a bit clicker happy. Edit. Done.

I use natural light as much as possible. Set the camera up with a 10 second timer. Find my angles and poses, take 1000 pics and like one

My phone is excellent at screen grabbing stills from high frame rate video (certainly good enough quality for fab)

Find good lighting, natural is usually best angling down on you.

Set up camera to film and then hold a number of poses before going back and screen grabbing them.

Those dates with the OF model who would spend hours doing this in different outfits taught me a lot

Either plan your pic beforehand and ensure there’s nothing in your pic you don’t want. Get your sexy head on, as the way you feel portrays in a pic. Have fun with the pic and ensure the lighting is good.

Or video the whole thing and then go back and see what pics you can get from it.

Take a hundred pictures using a remote or timer feature, pick the best one, adjust the black point or punch the shadows

In a town full of colours

I have to be in the mood. Which is rare atm. I just use my phone and a 10 sec timer and take lots of different poses and trawl through them later

Take 5, choose the least shit one. Post it. Hate it for about 3 days, decide to leave it up or delete it.

Almost the same as you!

But I need to take about fifty photos. Then take the least shit one and crop it before posting it

Usually after three or four days I look at it and take it down again

Know which angles make you look less overweight and haggard and just keep using the same poses over and over again.

I honestly expected more people to have genuinely preset poses but it appears the majority of fab roll about aimlessly snapping and hoping for the best... amazing! Haha.

Manchester (she/her)

I think filters make a big difference too - you see common filters among some people which really makes people look better than they really are.

(When I bother, I use black and white, sometimes I add colour - like I have one picture which is black and white except a red bit of lingerie. I crop. Once I got rid of a giant zit on my butt. I see no use in peacocking as something I'm not)

the gutter looking at the stars (UAE)

Camera on tripod, remote control app on phone. Flash off camera on its own stand with an umbrella reflector.
