Hi OP, you’re in a similar situation to where I was - When I got to 40 I knew that fatherhood had passed me by so I got the snip. My doctor was reluctant to refer me but I was in a relationship with someone who had kids so that swung the balance.

From initial consultation to my procedure was about 3 months. It was uncomfortable for a couple of days but nothing major. As for any difference there is non whatsoever. I’ve never had a single regret but make sure you’re certain it’s for you before you commit.
