My dad wears Tena pants. He is 88 and still goes to the loo but can't get there quite quick enough so they really help my mum do less trouser washing.

Exactly. I wasn't laughing at incontinence, it was the first time I had seen the advert and it made me laugh. Always a risk at my age!

Then everyone got all overly precious about it!

OP I think you are probably very much missing the point of the advert,I doubt that it's meant to be funny probably more like trying to state a point regarding, it's an affiliation that anyone could suffer from even I'm assuming from your description a good looking guy who you was hoping was going to be naked?

I genuinely can't believe that in today's world they would put out an advert taking the piss ( excuse the pun) male incontinence??

But to redress the balance I guess, how many comedians and show's have done material about the old bodyform advert with the woman rollerblading in white shorts on her period.

That's not too say either are funny or any justification finding either humorous.

Unfortunately advertising agencies probably take themselves way to seriously and put out stuff that they assume everyone will understand but it ends up way off the mark.

If as you have posted it is taking the proverbial out of male incontinence then I'm sure complaint's will be had and it will be removed... hopefully.

I had a procedure done at the hospital and it left me with urge incontinence. I tried the male tena pants but they were so bulky and appeared to be designed for full incontinence (both ends). I read somewhere that tena silhouette pants could be unisex, so I bought some and they fitted perfectly.I bought black so if they did show, it would look like mens black briefs. Everything stayed dry when I wore them but I had a feeling of naughtiness as I was wearing womens panties. My condition cleared up and I no longer need to wear but I slip some on occasionally as it feels good
