Having had to make the decision to turn his machines of today as there was no brain activity. He has just passed away peacefully. Thankyou all for all your thoughts well wishes, friendship and kindness over the last 10 days

Karen you have been amazing, an amazing daughter and you always will be, every memory will be treasured and your father is at peace now, sorely missed, gone but never forgotten.

You are all in our thoughts, our sincere condolences to you and your family.

After the arrangements are made and one more hurdle to face, give yourself time and you will heal.

Such a raw time for you emotionally right now, I feel your pain.

But we are all here and M and I wish you well in such a sad time.

Hi Karen

We haven't really spoken on here, but I thought it would be good to offer sympathy from a lurker/sometimes poster on here.

If it's any help when my father died a few years ago, I found the pain of his passing was eased somewhat by trying not to dwell in the period of his illness, but focusing on some of the good times he and I spent together. It helped me. x
