And it has confused me over the years of growing up. Because I have found that some women like and enjoy being treated with no manners and lack of respect from a man, than going with a gentleman who will give her nothing but respect and affection and compassion. To me it's about how I act towards the people I interact with. Be open, honest and respecting their choices/decisions.

To many men on her are extremely hypocritical about the decision to be on this site. When you take the time to speak to them you realise they on her for similar reasons as most men. The whole concept isn't outdated in my view; albeit part of the definition might be seen to be:

a chivalrous, courteous, or honourable man.

"he behaved throughout like a perfect gentleman" Oxford definition.

I'd have thought honourable courteous characteristics would be seen as highly valued traits, and whilst all people should aim to be so, many males need proper role models and an image to aim for, moreso than ever from what I'm seeing.
