Petrol Pumps

Experts are saying that at the pumps you never get any extra petrol after you fill by raising or lowering the hose because the cut off is in the nozzle. Does anyone do this ?

Dunno about drips but I always try and end it on an even pound. Hate when the figure is something like £20.02
