I had a hernia op as well as the snip at the sametime. A two for one shall we say. Good news for me I had a general as opposed to a local for the snip.

I suggest waiting until you get a hernia.

However on a negative... I felt nothing afterwards for two/three weeks. I was panicking they had broken me.

Panic off though its been working for years since the op and no more kids.

The main factor for myself was to not have the OH taking the pill, tbh I never even considered such things as 'cum load'..
