Well... I've had to have a word with myself this morning.

By noon I'd had 5 coffee's... think I'll be a shaking mess by the end if the day and not for any good reasons!

Whats your usual caffeine intake through a day? More Importantly... whats your favoured coffee....?

Carlisle usually

Hook me up to a drip. I'm usually in double figures by the end of my work day.

One of my local places does some orange mocha coffee for the cafetiere, but I'll tolerate nescafe at work when it's free.

Im caffiene free... After being full of it for too long.

It really is better not being addicted to it, speaking from being on both sides!

I'm on nescafe gold blend with Oat Milk... changed out the semi skimmed a few months back and I feel so much better

Does your drip have a secondary one I can hook up to?!

I generally have two a day, maybe more on the weekends.

I tend to have a decaf espresso at home or a cappuccino if I’m out. I don’t really enjoy strong coffee.

I take it black. But I tend towards almond milk over oat milk when I do have something that needs it.

If it reduces my own intake, no.

So I had an issue since the WFH days began. Solution was simple. 1 caffeinated coffee on waking, decaf for the rest of the day.

Research shows that caffeine when you wake up has terrible effects on cortisol levels

Zero. Probably averages out to one a month? I've had to give up caffeine for health reasons and although I admittedly miss it sometimes, I don't miss the effects. The hold it had on me.

Maybe try a cycle of about 30 days without coffee (if you can survive) and then start with 1 cup a day and see if you can feel the effects then?

I drink decaffeinated tea.

I tried to have decaffeinated cola but it only comes in diet drinks which give me a stomach ache, so I have normal cola now. I don't drink too much cola but I'm hooked on Cherry Lucozade which has caffeine in.

I'm cutting down by drinking water again but it's hard work.

I don't sleep well if I drink anything with caffeine after about 6pm.

I feel the effects of one cup or can of anything with caffeine in. It's not a nice feeling, to be honest.

I tried that through both my pregnancies as drank decaff throughout and it didn't make a difference when I went back to caffeinated. It's strange as I have a low tolerance to medication so you'd think caffeine would be the same.

I stopped drinking caffeine at least 5 years ago. Now I can't drink any without consequences. I had some Cola today and I have a bit of stomach pain and I feel spaced out.
