Somewhere In The Ether…

Apparently, Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions is desperate to get Robert Englund to don the infamous glove and sweater one more time in a reboot of the franchise (the last attempt by Platinum Dunes starring Jackie Earle Haley as our burnt antagonist wasn’t generally met by fans with particular enthusiasm).

Englund is of course getting on in years now but he did play the part as recently as 2018 in an episode of The Goldbergs…

Awesome man, now you have watch the other 7.

Always felt New Nightmare was an under appreciated gem.

The 1984 original was amazing, after second one the following year it seemed to lose it for me but when all movies combined have grossed almost $500 million there are obviously major 'Freddy' fans out there..

I'm eagerly awaiting 'Evil Dead Rise' planned for release in UK late April this year...see if it can compare with original from way back in 1981 (OMG! now I really feel old !)

The nightmare sequels don't measure up to the original maybe aside from the Dream Warriors and New Nightmare.

Looking forward to Evil Dead Rise, though I wasn't massively keen on the 2013 remake (good though it was)

Bruce Campbell won't be making a return as far as I'm aware.

Not groovy.

The first is a classic, the following two sequels are good, but personally I think the rest of the franchise is bad,I think if it had been only a trilogy it would have been great.

I actually seen the elm street 3 cast at a horror convention last year, well, the patients who were in the hospital asylum,it was a bit surreal seeing all of them on stage doing Q's and A's together.
