I don't really mind them. Make me smile sometimes though, when they are very suggestive of how they would like to meet a couple and explore their male bi curiosity etc, forgetting they are messaging a single female

If we think they are we ignore and delete as it only takes 3/10s of a second to press the delete button.

Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

I had to laugh as I had a message off a guy that started with a joke (as I request) then was a copy n paste to someone called Deb...I did reply saying he should remember to change the name when pasting....

The other good one was half a page of exactly what he wanted to do to me that I got sent every month for 3 months till I blocked him

No objection to C&P, depends on the content of the message

A well written introduction message gives an indication whether we'll all bond, i.e.,those who send a one word message “Hi” “Hello” etc., etc.. give us the impression they'll not be very good as conversationalist.

"I had one with someone elses name half way through! Doh! "

I've had that too!! Made me laugh.

The best one was a 'hi how are you' message with 5 cock pics attached to it and when I asked why he'd sent cock pics when the first line of my profile days not to he said he must of clicked them by accident!! All 5!! That's some trigger finger lol x

We had the same mail from someone 3 times over a couple of months.word for word. When we looked at his profile it was a copy and paste of the profile of someone we've met.that seems to show a lack of effort

Often get them sent to this acc and my couples account, love replying back to say thanks for the copy and paste, prefer originality though.

One guy had cheek to say message wasn't copy paste, until I pointed out he sent identical message to both accs lol

I've seen dire warnings about this on a few ladies profiles now. At the most basic level, I completely understand why anyone would want to feel that somebody has made an effort, and receiving a mail that has obviously been sent word-for-word to loads of other women isn’t likely to make anyone feel valued. However, I think the “cut and paste” concept needs to be qualified.

Firstly, there are certain bits of information about myself that need to be included in every ‘first’ message I send. I have a couple of paragraphs which I think read ok and yes (gasp!), I usually cut and paste those bits; it seems pointless to write the same basic stuff afresh every time and I think most people would do the same.

Secondly, many of the women who object to cut and paste messages have profile text consisting either of one sentence, or nothing but rules and warnings! (And yes, I know it’s the actions of some guys that forces them to put all that on there). I can usually make something out of our shared interests, but c’mon girls, I you want “original” then at least give us something to work with!

With those caveats, I’m happy to spend the time crafting personal elements to each message I send. After all, once I’ve filtered out the women whose criteria I can't honestly say I meet, it’s got to be well worth spending time wording a message to someone who actually looks like they might just entertain the idea of playing with me!

Even if its first time you receive a message it can be very obvious it's a cut and paste, the more you get the easier they are to spot, usually treat them the same as one liners, delete.

"how do u know the pasted unless u get it twice? i dont know how to even do it would save me some time tho "

If it mentions someone elses name, comments on how beautiful I am despite me showing no face pic or states hows great my pics are (I have one), refers to me in couples tense (eg, how are you both?), or they've forgotten to change some kind of date within it. Like about 10 mins ago I have one telling me he's off work tomorrow, which he clarified as being Sunday. Obviously sent the same message to at least one woman yesterday.

To the OP - Some I don't mind if they tweak it to me, or at least to a single female. Cut and paste where it doesn't match anything to do with me, or is just their profile is a bit boring though. Does make me think if they can't be creative with a message how creative would they be when it comes to sex?

I've had them where, when I looked at their profile, it was a copy and paste of the text of it.

I don't mind if they have a pre-written message as long as they customise their messages to suit the person they are contacting. So the bit about themselves could stay the same. But the part about the person or couple they are contacted should be tailored to the profile.

Unfortunately I have received the exact same copy & pasted message from the same men. Do they forget who they have sent messages to, or are they hoping I will relent and reply to them!
