I've always thought that dog owners, even when I was one, who let their dogs use sports fields and play areas as a toilet are inconsiderate.

It makes my blood boil, don't get a pet if you don't want to pick up it's mess, it's that simple, it's pure laziness.

This same neighbour kept letting his dog poo on my garden who the previous people and neighbours put up with and don't say anything to him, best believe that dog shit the first time landed on his door step, next few times I knocked on his door demanded he picked it up and reported him twice. Absolute scutter.

Best believe he does not let his dogs do it anymore the shit I've given him for it, can't understand how people can just "put up with it" because he's been doing it years. ERM NO!

May I add he never owned poo bags, always came over with a piece of paper from his house scooped it up and put it in his blue bin.

No words.

Back in the days before it became commonplace for dog poo to be picked up, was nothing unusual for public pitches to be "littered" with it. "Scrum Pox" was rife....open wounds became infected, more frequently in the forwards (hence the name). Quite willing to be corrected, but from recollection, believe the actual infection is Impetigo.

Have a few scars from those days!

Dogs used to get free discarded raw bones from the local butchers and the calcium in them turned their shit white.

These days dogs rarely eat raw Jones and most are fed on dry food or tinned, containing less calcium.

Ergo, less white dog shit.
