Just watched this classic musical yesterday afternoon. Seen it several times but it just hit me that this classic film depicts a man and his 7 brothers who live at the back of beyond up some mountain going into the local village, throwing sheets and sacks over the heads of 6 young girls and abducting them to live in their ramshackle hut through the winter. Funny how you can look at a family film like that for years then just realise they could all get life in jail!!!
