Every Morning, Sugar Ray

I remember listening to it at some point in my late teens on a beautiful warm sunny day and feeling - for a moment in time - completely carefree. Now it doesn’t matter what is going on for me, I seem able to channel that same feeling by listening to this song.

Carlisle usually

The Muse cover of Feeling Good by Nina Simone. That calm joy really works for me when I'm up.

Also It Gets Worse by Mindless Self Indulgence. Because that always cheers me up when I'm low.

Anything by Abba, but especially does your mother know.

Not my typical taste in music, but when I was a carer we cared for a guy with Huntingtons, very advanced so could only say a few words. But when we had Abba on and myself and the other carer were dancing like loons to it, he was present with us, laughing and enjoying every minute.

I think he secretly liked that we had to turn his wife’s gospel music off to do it as well

Love this, Harlot
