Have you ever just listened to the silence around and felt bliss? I am doing that now. It won't last long but it is so rejuvenating actually! In the world full of noises, stimulating sounds and excitement, just being aware of that moment where you switch off without a special effort. Happens.. and you notice yourself "within it".

Oh and no, no ear plugs. The soft ones just fall out of my ears because the openings are very narrow. It's when staff stand right at the door to the room you're in, at 04:00, having a loud conversation from one end of the corridor to the other
