I love mine! Smoothe mash, salted butter and an egg yolk if I am feeling indulgent. A pinch of white pepper and Bob is very much your mothers' brother!

I like my mash quite lumpy, almost just crashed potatoes. I always think it tastes better than silky smooth mash but that's just me of course

Pineapple corer/slicer. Never used it. Buy tinned pineapple.

And a air fryer with a drawer. Only used it once and got one with shelves instead and use that one every day.

I use most things I buy at least once.

If they piss me off on that first try, they'll get chucked to the back of a cupboard somewhere.

Automatic can opener

Magnetic window cleaner

A multitude of cheapo vaccuum cleaners

Potato chipper

These can be really handy especially if you were cooking a soup. I also use mine as a big pot for my rice... without the pressure.

Honestly, it doesn't taste vastly different to shop bought fresh pasta, and the sauce is the important bit in any pasta dish anyway. I'll use it if I'm being poncey and showing off...or if I'm really, really bored

Preston Ish

Bread maker.

Used once now back in the box and sitting in the utility gathering dust.

I bought a remake of an 80s toy called Big Trak too because I never had one as a kid.

Been the attic from the first day as it's too complicated to program.

Nostalgia not always a good thing

nae danger.

Slow cooker for me as takes to long and have a toastie machine I've used like once, thankfully got a decent size kitchen or would be a mess with some the useless sh#t that's in it

"Pressure cooker. Not bought, gifted. I’m too scared to use it in case I scald my face off "

I love my pressure cooker. You can cook the cheapest and toughest but most flavorful of meats in minutes. The result is ready and tender. Beef cheek diced, browned and cooked for about 20 minutes is brilliant for pies.

In these days of rising prices it is a brilliant tool.

I also used the carcass of a cooked fowl to make stock for gravy.

Just follow the instructions.

A piece of equipment for my work, cost 10k, still not got around to using it yet. It's too complicated and can get the job done in half the time with traditional methods.

"Rather expensive camera. "

I was thinking about investing in a proper camera. I had this idea about taking photography up as a hobby. Then thought, I'd have to lug it around everywhere. Seems a complete faff given that we all have cameras on our phones (although I appreciate the quality isn't there).
