Best biscuit for dunking?

couple, us we him her.

Not your favourite biscuit but best to dunk.

I would say definitely the gingernut.

It can take a good dunking before it goes floppy and useless.

Maintains a good firm consistency from cup to mouth, unless you over dunk.

Far superior to other inferior cheap biscuits.

With the bourbon cream a close second.

Biscoff.

Stands up well to the absorbing of the hot drink, absorbing a decent amount as it goes due to its firm but airy texture, doesn't lose all its taste but picks up a hint of the liquid and also has a perfect shape for any mug or cup. You don't have to nibble at it to start it off.

Not necessarily for dunking but I've got right back into the orange Club biscuit. A Rolls Royce of a snack!

Ginger creams are a step up from the good old ginger nut and a nice hobnob or oatie are always used as dunking fodder, the digestive is so yesterday

Chocolate caramel digestive…

The caramel holds everything together and is best when dunked as it warms the caramel to a lovely gooey consistency

Traditionally the chocolate hob nob held this title unchallenged. However I have to concur with the above poster that the caramel digestive is in a league of its own as a dunker

The butter biscuits from Mont St Michel - Mère Poulard has the best post dunk structural integrity of all biscuits I’ve tested, and that’s a lot of biscuits and a lot of tea!! It can happily take a 7 second full dunk without getting flaccid
