10 magpies in my garden!A surprise that should not be missed?? Good or bad omen?!?!

3 for a girl, 4 for a boy.

Your garden visitors mean that you're going to have an MFF threesome very soon...

Yes it's just superstitious.

I have a pet Robin but that's also not a dead loved one coming to spend time with me. It's just superstitious.

I have spelt that correct as if I have, what a word. It starts with super tit

I think this means a plane is going to land on your house!

You may want to take yourself out for the day!

10 magpies not a good omen, stay in bed all day so you don't stub your little toe

Fox does, I don't.

The only time I recall counting one was when it flew into my windscreen a year or so ago and exploded in a cloud of feathers and guts. That was definitely a 'sorrow' moment for that bird.

I only count the ones around the fields when we are lambing. Little shits are thugs for new lambs

My bad. I always get those two mixed up.

What number for a hot air balloon?

My nan’s spare room.

Had 11 in the garden last week, I think that’s for health.

It's a bit spooky when they gather on certain Graves in the cemetery

No friends of the small finches etc in your garden. Should be classed as vermin.

They take baby birds out of the nests from next doors garden... But then the rooks/crows completely surround the magpies nests and take their babies. Nature is fucking brutal

Gateway to the Beacons

One for sorrow,

Two for joy,

Three for a girl,

Four for a boy,

Five for silver,

Six for gold,

Seven for a secret,

Never to be told.

Eight for a wish,

Nine for a kiss,

Ten a surprise you should be careful not to miss,

Eleven for health,

Twelve for wealth,

Thirteen beware it’s the devil himself

East London

We have a mischief of magpies living in our back gardens.

I counted 8 once, but there might be more. They were chasing a pigeon.

Most days I see two sitting on the roofs opposite my house, or on the fence between my house and the neighbour.

Love magpies. They kinda remind me of the clockwork wind-up toys we had as kids.
