Just out of curiosity - how many messages do you lovely ladies get in a day ?

When I was a few hrs-days old here, I had 20odd a day..

Now I blocked most of them, and added a photo, maybe 2-3 a day.

Lady part of a couple. Our profile before this we got probably 30+ a day

Now we know about the messaging filters from the get go we get about 2 or 3 a day. Much more meaningful conversations too.

Depends how long I am online and at what time but 20 ish maybe, but I have no filters on except age I think.

I have my filters whacked up tighter than shields on the starship Enterprise in hyperspace & under fire from laser doodads

Have I suitably mangled that reference?

Well between that & setting my profile to private I now can enjoy pottering about on here and only get texts from people I was already chatting to

Maybe 1-5 / day.

Always depends on how much I am posting on the forums, if I'm playing a forum game, if I decide to drop a new pic

Couldn’t say as I bulk delete regularly currently have 78 unread, I do try and read them and reply to whom I want but it can be too much and I loose touch with some

It really depends, I'm never inundated though. Never been in the 100s like some of the ladies. When it's busy... Maybe 50? On an average day, maybe 15 or so, I don't ever keep count. 95% get deleted as they haven't even read the profile.

it depends i try clear them and reply to a few but its hard as im clear about what i want and most dont read profile

ive found what im looking for so all good hence the not meeting

Sometimes sheer luck. Sometimes it's just the profile picture that strikes up my interest or the first lines of the message. I try to open up most of them and reply but once I get caught up in a conversation , I don't bother open up the rest.

O to a few per day. But I rarely look at messages there's just over 200 unread. With threads I reply on the thread not by messages.

I feel lucky I don’t get lots of messages. I can’t stand it when I have unread emails or apps with notifications unread. Not sure I could cope with a sea of yellow on fab. (And I’d have to read them)

I find it really stressful. And with strict filters we only get a few each week. And then there's the etiquette of do we leave them on read for ages until the other half can see and we can discuss, do we read then mark unread (yellow stress again)...Aargh

I’ve had a reply before that said “thank you, will get back to you when we’ve both read” and they put it back to unread.

I would think that would take time you might not have though

If I open my inbox and put up a photo or status it can be between 20 and 100. If its past 9pm on a Friday or Saturday and I'm online it's the higher numbers. Cant get filters to work properly so I rarely have my inbox open. Prefer to message first when I like someone
