For a metal fan, this seems weird for me to say. But I genuinely enjoyed Justin Timberlake more than any gigs I’ve been to.

Why? You ask.

Because I was kinda dragged along, I was expecting to hate every minute of it. But I walked out having been thoroughly entertained by a talented chap, and I was able to just watch the show without being a fan, and getting overwhelmed at seeing someone I idolise.

Not all that North of North London

While not a full gig I once saw Mick Jones of The Clash, Wayne Kramer of MC5, Chris Shiflet of the Foo Fighters and Billy Bragg in a pub in Camdem play a brief set of pubk covers including Kick Out The Jamms and Jail Guitar Doors and I've seen 100s of gigs over the last 35 years but nothong will come close to matching that!

At LIVE AID Queen simply stole the show ..they owned the stage .. unbelievable performance.. simple as ...no one came even close to them ..." We'd like to dedicate this song to all the beautiful people here tonight...which of course is all of you ".

Doncaster & Bembridge

Very hard to say what was the best concert I've been to seen so many brilliant ones. The most unexpected one was back in about 1976. A local guitar shop used to hire a nearby pub on a Sunday afternoon once a month and organise impromptu gigs and invite various musicians to jam. One I went to had a drummer that had done lots of session recordings, a local keyboard player, Chris Spedding (lots of sessions, one hit wonder in the 70s and was the main guitarist on Geoff Wayne's War of the Worlds album) and Jack Bruce on bass and vocals! Wow, Jack Bruce in a Doncaster pub on a Sunday afternoon!

Been to alot of concerts, acdc/stones/elton/queen/faithless/neworder/police/evanesence/within temptation etc etc but one of the best has to be, and dont laugh now the gregorian masters of chant (modern songs performed in a nod to chant, youtube them(esp the dark side album), you may be very surprized at what you might like by them LOL) travelled to poland to see them and boy! Was it worth the trip, a great fun entertaining night out, with a bit of a light show and the lads n lassies at the end of the show do a casual meet n greet with the attendies of the concert
