Just gone to message someone and their filters wouldn't allow me because of my age.

Having looked for the ahe they specify its a maximum age of 58

I'm a year too late

What a difference a year makes eh

That's quite specific, 58 is a funny year to pick as normally 50 seems to be the most common cut off.

Quite a lot of people choose a certain number of years older or younger than themselves so probably why it's not a rounded up number.

Perhaps their realistic age range is up to 50 or 55,but they realise there may be the odd few that are possibly worth considering beyond that age?

Who knows?

It's their profile,their sex life their rules.

All you can do is respect their wishes and move on to someone who would consider your age

We worked on the assumption that our age criteria will allow for people who 'typed their date of birth incorrectly'
