I don’t have face pictures on my profile that are public (like many) because I’m shy. And whenever I send or am asked to send I do worry that it’s going to disappoint when you’ve been flirting etc (is this making sense?)

But, someone recently said that I looked like they imagined! Has this happened to you or have you done this in the past with someone else in here.

*im sure I am guilty of catfishing

Its like always some will like you because they like your way, your humour, your pics, your points of view and some won't, some say I'm handsome and some don't I'm very philosophical about it.

I have never had that compliment yet.

But a woman did say that I look like her proctologist who is now a hairdresser in Sweden.

Not sure if it correlates, but the guy is following his dream after all.

Sometimes I've been disappointed (they might have too)..

I then have to end the chat since don't find them physically appealing...unless of course they just want to be friends with no benefits..

No. When I don't have a face pic visible, I'm very aware that I don't resemble preconceived notions people may have on my appearance. In the slightest.

I type in a very particular way, have a particular voice that doesn't quite go with my physical appearance. And that's okay. I'm fine with it.

I’m a great big ruggedly handsome, bearded man with a very beautiful penis that brings great pleasure to many.

If I don’t come across that way in text then that’s because you are just reading.

You need to hear my text, speak it out and feel it flow through you like a wave of passion.

I need to find a way to have your self belief and confidence. And awareness of who you are really.

How about us? Do we look as expected?

I lost my face in an industrial accident in 1972 and had to have everything above the collar bones removed. When people want to see my face, I have a ChatGP rendering for general use while my real face is preserved somewhere as part of a medical science project.

I have trouble wearing hats.

Yeah, I do.

Sometimes wish I didn't. Wish I was all fuckin' suave and mysterious, like a sexy blokey-bloke in some smokey bar with a jawline made of Lego and like... dunno, chest hair or something.

But I'm mostly usually content with my rambling, babbling energy

Ah you can be suave sometimes! This is very much meant in a non-flirty weird way. You're a good looking man.

Also, all the best people ramble.

I get called cute a lot, but usually not beautiful or sexy. I don't know exactly how I come across in text, but I'm not one for dirty chat, I'm more light-hearted and playful, maybe that's why. Might get more compliments if I filtered my pics to oblivion, but I don't like doing that.

I vividly recall meeting someone from the forums at a social a decade ago and being told 'you're not what I expected at all'.

She's still here.

But generally I'm told yes. Although the closest thing to a face pic I have publicly has a bit more hair than I do in reality....

I’ve always had face pics shown so it hasn’t come up. But I have been told I look like my pics in real life. Resting bitch face / cheeky grin!

I have a hugely overactive imagination and my brain is always filling in blanks, so I’m guilty of mentally predetermining what someone will look and be like. I’m often wrong!! Sometimes in a good way, sometimes not. I guess that’s what socials are for - are we actually attracted to each other physically and mentally…

I have decided to have a face pic as my main pic so there is never any ambiguity.

For me it just makes things easier with someone knowing how I look before instigating contact.

Also leads to less overthinking on my part.

The most common thing said to me when people meet me at socials and I've introduced myself is 'Oh yes! Cherry! Of course you are...'

Not sure if that's a compliment to my biog and pics or not!
