I used to enjoy watching these on the BBC in the past but don't have a tv at present. They have been broadcast on BBC4 since 2012. Has anybody watched this year or been to Royal Institute of Great Britain to see it live?

Love them too, however, it is unlikely I would watch it on TV due to being at work.

The Town by The Cross

Never miss them if I can help it.

So far I caught most of the first one.

I shall watch them back to back later this week.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I haven't seen it live but I do love them. I haven't watched them this year but will catch them later. Alchemy and diamonds, what's not to love?

We've caught a couple so far and been quite impressed. Apparently Osmium is the heaviest element in the periodic table.

And I never expected to use this new found knowledge until now.

Hate to be a pedant, but Osmium is the densest of the elements, not strictly the heaviest.

I beg to differ, your correction would suggest I'm the densest element around here lol.

Glad I never mentioned the episode about gases now

I'm sure you are extremely durable and hard when alloyed!

They're usually very entertaining but I felt this years presenter was a bit lacklustre.
