What do you miss from the 80s?

midlands

The 80s were the best decade.

Weather was better, none of this crazyness going on in the World.

Food seemed better with all these new foods.

TV was better...Minder, Benny Hill, Generation Game, 321, Grange Hill ,Blue Peter. Saturday Morning tv Swap Shop,Tiswas etc.

I remember, recession, strike's ,mass unemployment,huge interest rate increases, Thatchers Britain.

Selling off of nationalised companies, mining industry decimated, steel industry decimated, building trade changed forever with the loss of many many thousands of jobs and Rick Astley.

Being able to get on a train and travel where you wanted when you and not have to plan a day out around strikes.

Having an NHS that isn't broken, didn't need to use it much back in the 80's but as you get older you become more reliant on it.
