Fill up on low calorie dense food.

Here is another fitness tip that I have, fill up on low calorie dense food, regardless of who you are there is going to be a time when you are just simply hangry, you want to eat you, you want to binge, if you fill up on low calorie dense foods like fruits, vegetables, french toast, popcorn, greek yogurt, you name it, you are going to be full on a lot less calories, the problem is when eating junk or or high calorie foods, it is far too easy to over consume calories, stick to eating low calorie dense food when you are hungry, this will allow you to stay in a calorie deficit, what low calorie foods do you like to eat?

My new years resolution was to lose 25kg in weight, by cutting carbs.

No bread,pasta,rice etc etc

Also no chocolate or crisps

So far lost 5kg and feeling great for it

Hi harlot, ty, you are right there and also I like to stay sub 10% with abs year round, that in itself is a challange

Yes, it depends how one is making it and fitness goal, for weight loss the calories in a french toast average around 300 calories for two slices but can vary widely depending on what type of bread, sweetener, egg, milk and add - in ingredients you use, it is all about portion sizes

I do the peanut butter thing! It really keeps my weight managed because it takes ages to eat and a small amounts surprisingly filling. Has to be crunchy

Nuts and seeds.

Also protein will fill you up for longer and have a better effect on blood sugar's.

So skinless chicken (not a KFC)

Lean meats,beef and turkey.

Bulking up a meal also with pulse's and lentils, chickpeas.

I find cous cous a good one for this.

Chicken breasts diced mixed with chilli cous cous, chopped onion (fresh) sweetcorn and some rocket.

Filling lunch

But be careful avoid palm oil and transfats.

Go for a natural peanut butter most are dangerously high in fat and lot's have much added sugar.

However a nice snack is slice's of apple and peanut butter dip.

Or celery if sugar is an issue.

Yep heard a few things about palm oils. Tried the ones that don't have it but they're a bit dryish. I'll have to keep the naughty version to a minimum

It's true protein keeps you fuller for longer. But there always has to be a balance.

I have to say I don't agree with your choice of French toast, by its own definition, its carbs cooked in fat! Not exactly gonna make it into weight watchers top 10 meals.

Also some comments on nuts. Most nuts are calorie packed. I use nuts as part of my bulking cycle.

But hey, all bodies are different. You will find what works for you.

No, that are too high in calories, but if you just have a small portion of it, it would be ok as a snack, portion control is the key.

Vodka is low in calories and the amount of time I’ve spent plastered has resulted in a great weight loss start to the year - lost 7 lbs , my job, home , car and several weekends blacked out in a shop doorway - obviously im not a GP ( any more!). So before embarking on a weight loss program of any sort - see your GP…. Or Dave from Facebook now that he’s not busy being a political analyst or virologist !!

Yes, one can have low calorie smoothies for under 200 calories, like chocolate mix, almond milk, berry smoothie, green smoothie, to name few of them
