"Is French toast low calorie ? Bread fried in butter I wondered that - isn't there sugar involved too?" Yes, it depends how one is making it and fitness goal, for weight loss the calories in a french toast average around 300 calories for two slices but can vary widely depending on what type of bread, sweetener, egg, milk and add - in ingredients you use, it is all about portion sizes

It really keeps my weight managed because it takes ages to eat and a small amounts surprisingly filling. Has to be crunchy " But be careful avoid palm oil and transfats. Go for a natural peanut butter most are dangerously high in fat and lot's have much added sugar. However a nice snack is slice's of apple and peanut butter dip. Or celery if sugar is an issue.

Yep heard a few things about palm oils. Tried the ones that don't have it but they're a bit dryish. I'll have to keep the naughty version to a minimum
