Been laid up since Xmas day, started anti-biotics a couple of days ago but still feeling crap and looks like new year is going to be a wash out. Anyone got any idea how long I will feel like crap for and any suggestions to cheer me up??

Think it takes a few days for antibiotics to kick in. Watch lots of crap telly and get well soon. X

It affects people in different ways. Bound to knock the stuffing out of anyone who gets it. Some people are in hospital for weeks with severe cases. Just take it easy and ride it out.get well soon xxx

I had pleurosy once which I think is similar and that lasted ages and kept coming back for weeks after everytime I got wet or cold
