No matter what it is I would rather be told

As it allows people to work through things

Was it my short comeings that did it

If so I would rather know

So we can make changes and work through things

No brige is truely burned if someone means something to you or did mean something to you

Only briges that are truely burned are ones you didn’t mean a thing to them in the first place

Aww OP, that's quite sad. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

I've never experienced that. No, that's not quite true. At one point I did wish an ex had been honest with me. But, I've moved on from it. What he didn't say was his choice and I'm happy with where I am now.

I've been left hanging by someone who had met someone more attractive to them than I was, but wanted to keep me on a back burner in case the new person didn't work out. That properly fucked with my head.

Someone leaving though... nah, as long as I know it's over then I tend to trust there is a reason for it and if we've not had a massive barney then that reason is probably not something I can impact.

It would be great to have a grown up conversation about these situations but I've found most people shy away from the potential awkwardness of it.

Someone leaving though... nah, as long as I know it's over then I tend to trust there is a reason for it and if we've not had a massive barney then that reason is probably not something I can impact.

Pah. That’s crap. I always say I can deal with the truth. People should just talk openly.

But, *comical response incoming….. You get to make up the reasons when other people ask what happens. You can tell them something epic that makes you look awesome.
