Probably goes for all of us and the OP " The laws governing sport and assault have long recognised there is a degree of consent to physical contact by those taking part, even to foul play. Otherwise every bad tackle, punch, etc would be a criminal offence. In this case if no complaint has been made and the police are not investigating then calling it an 'assault' is not correct. | |||
