He did so many very good ones so it is difficult to pick a single favourite.

Get Carter, Zulu, 2 parts of the Harry Palmer trilogy (Billion Dollar Brain was crap) Italian Job, Educating Rita, and Harry Brown could all be contenders.

Must admit I'm surprised no-one has mentioned Alfie yet.
