Probably Hyde Park. Have seen so many gigs there and not one bad memory.

Did download for about 8 years last time was over 10 years ago but don't rate the fest.

Hyde park is my answer.

My favourite has been Halifax Piece Hall. Saw my first gig there last year, Noel Gallagher, and the place is perfect. Not too big, not too small, great amenities and atmosphere. Looking forward to the gigs in seeing there this year.

South Essex

My favourite was the LA2 in London. Basically a nightclub with a stage which would still attract big name bands. It was demolished for Crossrail

Bang on. Give me a small intimate gig over a massive stadium gig anyday.

Being that close to the band who are giving it their all.

Its also good catching decent support acts who go onto bigger things too.

Other venues i really like?

Castlefield Bowl in Manchester

Cannock Chase Forest

The Clapham Grand

The Camden Roundhouse

St Austell

The 'Eden Sessions' gigs at The Eden Project always seem to go down well - some people who'd seen the same artists at other venues have said Eden's was better and 'more initimate', with only crowds of 6,000...

....the site also attracts 'rare' performances - eg., in 2018 Bjork played one of only two UK dates there - and lots of big names, such as Bryan Adams, Diana Ross, Elton John, Kylie, Lionel Richie and My Chemical Romance, to name a few...

Not all that North of North London

"Brixton Academy, hope it reopens soon."

I think we could lose it for good and I think there could be a major impact on all Acadamy venues.

Shame, its a brilliant venue

Wherever I lay my hat

Another vote for the Roundhouse here. I also loved the Borderline for really small, intimate gigs. Was sad to see it close

Hampshire/Dorset

I like the places that used to be theatres... 2 I can think of are Bournemouth O2 and Pryzm at Kingston.

Also our bandstand in the summer is a great place, out in the open and all free.
