Tin town

Sung to the tune of tainted love.. Yea you now have an ear worm.

We've heard of cupboard love as it refers to cats and dogs...

But.. Anyone have any examples of cupboard love in humans?

The insincere feigned love displayed by someone generally for the purpose of obtaining or gaining something.

I feel slightly saddened that this may be the case with the relationship I have with my dogs.

Covent Garden

A form of obsequiousness, typically found with pets, usually cats.

Often found on here as well, in similar manifestations.

They use this term also when referring to cats its a kind of fake love shown because you feed them, so relating to humans yes I've fed some of the women I've loved and some of the women i haven't

Well I'd never heard of that... Having cats I fully understand it though... And a child who would do anything for food.

Titz Towers, North Notts

Reminds me of Dick n Dom

We're Diddy Dick and Dom

Welcome to our cupboard

We've lived here all our lives and never been discovered

We might be really small but we've both got big hearts

It's alright in here so long as no-one (pfft)

There's no room to swing and cat

And barely room to hang your hat

There's no need to push and shove

'Cause we got cupboard love

Cupboard love

Cupboard love

It ain't no palace but it feels like it's love

There's no need to push and shove

'Cause we got a cupboard lik? Old Mother Hubbard

Yes, we got cupboard lov?
