A is planning a tattoo thigh… to be fair she’s been planning one for over a year, but is yet to get it done!

Part of the delay is design ideas.

We’ve noticed a fair number of thigh tattoos on our fellow forum users, so…

Any suggestions, pointers to good online design ideas, examples… all most welcome

a good bet would be finding your artist first, someone who's work you really like and have the feel for their style etc, and booking a consultation chat with them. that way you can talk through the idea of what you want, or inspirations you have, and they can put some ideas together for you

i love mine, and can't wait to see what you go for! Px

A tattoo is such a personal thing to have. It will be there for the rest of your life, She really is best having some sort of idea of what she wants. I sent ideas to my tattoo artist and explained the sort of thing I wanted and he designed it for me. She can just Google women’s thigh tattoos to get an idea

Thanks for the replies

She does have small tatts already done by an artist she likes and trusts so maybe as you suggest a chat there is best…

Floral design is the intention but yes, it has to be the right choice… and for the ability of the artist I guess

Speak to your tattoo artist. Explain what you are after. They are the creative people and will come up with designs for you.

Rushden

Start with ideas around something she loves, book, film, person, anything. Then Google it, browse images, combine ideas & get your mind rolling. It's how I find most of mine.

Like my thigh, a dragon & roses
