Our ideal message from a couple would read.

Hi, we’re good looking, sexy, in shape, nice boobs, nice cock, well dressed, down to earth, bright, love orgasms and hate football.

We’d commence with dropping everything right now and catch a bus, to a meeting place.

About 3 feet away from the fence

I like them to get to the point quickly.

Example...

"I’d give ur suck cock face and that tight bubble ass some serious COCKING n pounding. Where are u based and R those suck cock lips and tight bubble arse cheeks free 2day ? Leave contact number & postcode if yes"

I'd prefer some shorter for a first message. Obviously not just a "hey" or "fancy a fuck?".....but something short and to the point is fine with me, even better if it's funny

Kings Lynn Norfolk! NOT

One liners are lazy for starters. Long messages normally tend to be a generic cut and paste sent to many.

The message should be relevant to those you are messaging. Always be to the point to why you are messaging, being polite and never rude. Witty and playful may help.

Don’t allow your message to be about you, that’s what your profile is for. If your message intrigues, provokes and interests then the recipient will view your profile, pix and verifications if showing and if there is or seems to a connection you will no doubt be successful in receiving a reply.

Good luck from there.

The messages that I receive — indeed the introductory ones — have substance and humour, which for me is a perfect and kindly ice-breaker.

Qualitative over quantitative is always appreciated.

tbf, i get both, and some one liners are absolute corkers and enough for me to ignite a conversation based on them. then some longer messages just drone and don't really produce much by way of meaningful starting point to have a chat.

i don't know.

maybe i'm just fussy.

something in the middle... a medium-liner.. funny, to the point, with enough substance for me to engage a reply and take it from there

One liners are fine if they are funny or intrigue me.

Nothing too long as they are usually copy and paste messages I find.

I find it hard myself to do first messages, one of the reasons I rarely do them so I’m not expecting lots from a first message.

Something in between. I do not want to read a waffling essay about oneself, I want more than one sign of engagement with my profile, needs and some introduction but not a full bio. Give me a leaflet not a War and Peace.

Long message but to the point . Show that effort has been made to read you profile .

I really struggle with opening messages to stand out from the crowd .

A few lines and a face pic.

No cheesy chat up lines, crap jokes or bad erotic fiction.

That’s not quite true. I’ve messaged a couple of single males, on the strength of their pictures and just said

‘That I’d absolutely love to watch you f@ck my beautiful wife senseless’

And that is straight up

But they ultimately turned out to be not worth the bother, as it soon become apparent they weren’t what we required.

I guess it’s 50/50, some people prefer a longer message, where others think it’s a copy and paste job.

Sometimes it’s hard to tailor a message to a profile if there’s not much on it lol

Carlisle usually

Successful first messages to me generally are a few lines long, mention something specific to my profile, and provide an interesting starting point to converse on.

If it's a big wall of impersonal text, it's a no. If it's just a hey how are you or some other kind of bland small talk, it's a no.

Respect, humour and intelligence are always valued.
