We have been on fab a while now don’t really use fb anymore but we have noticed that when we do go on there that people that we have messaged or been verified by on fab appear in suggested friends on faceb has anyone else noticed this

That is very strange. I’ve not experienced that but I’m sure some people who like to keep this side private will not be happy about it.

No I've never had this. Could it be that you have your phone number on Face-book and you have given out your phone number to people on Fab?

Only if you've swapped numbers usually as FB will have access to your contacts if you've allowed it

Very likely this, if you have their phone number and their number is linked to their Facebook (and you to yours) it will know and suggest them as friends/contacts

I would get it if the ones on there had mutual friends with us but there was one on there this morning that was from over 100 miles away from us that we had met in a club and they had no mutual friends just found it very bizarre but yes we do keep both very separate

No we don’t normally give numbers out and I lucifer am terrible at saving numbers I just remember last digits of the number so know who it is when people call

If you shared your phone number it's likely that you'll get also suggestions on social media. I had several faces I know from here popped on Instagram suggestions.

I found I had given my number to a couple of gents to chat on WhatsApp and they showed up as suggested friends on Bookface. Lesson learned !

I did wonder if it was like the targeted marketing like on Facebook and Google as the link when use do a search or so on
