"Was an eye opener to how expensive the SW can potentially be.. £6.80 for chicken fried rice £2.20 for curry sauce down here same sized portion up where my mum lives is £3.50 and £1.00" That is so true. The beer is cheaper in the midlands too, but there's no way I'd move back

Just wish there was 'more' in the way of shops that arent tourist orientated and they catered for locals. still im not a business owner and they have to do what makes the most money for them. However if youve a few million spare and wanna earn a few extra quid Dartmouth could do with a kebab/pizza/chicken type place as we dont have one for a 25/30 min can journey lol

"We went out to eat last night to a little Bangledeshi Resturant in Wolves. We had the usual popadoms and relishes appetizers, followed by a starter and main course. I had an ice cream dessert to cool my mouth. They don't have an alcohol license so we just had 2 soft drinks each. The total bill only came to £29.85. Now I don't usually tip in the UK but I gave the waiter a fiver. The food and service was excellent and we'll definately go back. " Was it close to an old fashioned pub on the corner?..because we had an Bangladeshi meal in a small cafe/restaurant in Wolverhampton main drag..cheap and excellent!
