Rodgers was vety successful at Chelsea at it was Mourinho who encouraged him to leave and try his hand at being a boss. When Rodgers was linked with the Chelsea job after AVB got the sack he said "I'm trying to build a career not destroy one"

No manager would allow a player to dictate the position he plays in, but at the same time I don't think he would sign someone and make him play in a position he doesn't like. If Chelsea get Falcao I don't think they'll get Walcott too.

As a Chelsea fan I honestly wouldn't want him. We're getting rid of Sturridge and can't see the point in replacing him with Walcott (wherever he wants to play) tho Walcott does have the advantage of being slightly less predictable than Sturridge. I wonder about Arsenal players signing new contracts,either Wenger is spinning them the best spiel in the history of the game or they're happy to take the money at a club that hasn't won anything for seven and a half years. Apart from all the fuckers that went to Man City for the money,but that looks like it's not working out for them either

If the Hammers *should* have won that game, the Hammers *would* have won it, but they didn't. As for taking the tie at Old Trafford, they have a chance, but it's a very thin one.
