Following on the If thread about where you would like to be if money is no object, what would you have in your property if money is no object?

I would like:

A sunken whirlpool bath

A big walk in shower with a massive rose above and body jets

A well-equipped big kitchen where I can install a stand alone hot plate/stove for cooking and entertaining around it

An all weather swimming pool with a big jacuzzi

A private cinema, with a popcorn machine and bar

A fully equipped bar

A kitchen garden

A cycle track around the ground so that I can take the dog out for a spin

A big enough garage for my cars and caravans

Big enough land for use as a camp site so that I can invite peeps round for some fun

Not asking for much I know. I can dream, right? And I always play the lottery.

I actually clean a house that is not dissimilar to that, it's bloody wasted on the cpl who own it, I would have a ball living there, a big gated property with lots of land, oh well only the lottery could help me

I want to build a retreat for wounded soldiers and their families.. I would like to include most of what pearl has mentioned... A place home from home where they can relax and have fun and meet others who have been injured..

If I won the lottery I would plough about £4 million into it...

A holiday camp for the armed forces and their families, with a few weekends closed for private functions.

That's what I would like to have if money is no object, as already mentioned in the past.

The Duke of Westminster is doing something simular.. He's bought a big mansion in the country side and is awaiting planning... I think it's going to replace Selly Oak.

It may do... I want something a bit different though... like entertainment in the evenings where there are guest entertainers (good ones) and somewhere where kids can play like a big adventure playground.. xx

oh gosh where to start..

It would be modern but a warm loving practical home for a family. Me, gorgeous guy 2/3 children.

Fabric sofa's for family snuggles, really important for me to have a dining table to keep the family together and central (kids homework, meal times, creative activities etc) Would love an open fireplace, lots of options for various lighting to create 'moods', in built sound system throughout the house.

Main bedroom would have a queen sized bed, a walk in wardrobe, a massive en-suite with a big fish tank wall. Huge shower for two and a round hot tub type bath

Kitchen with all the mod cons but designed and hidden away so it looks traditional. Big centre island with masses of storage for pots/pans and baking equiptment. Oak units i think.

Cinema/games room with those chairs you just sink into, big bean bags on the floor for the kids to jump on or mong out on. Classic arcade games with a pool table too.

Home gym and indoor pool. Libary/study for quiet down time away from the hustle n bustle.

Garden would be HUGEEE and just a big entertaining playground for adults and kids, Wendy house, Tree house, slides, swings, sandpits, trampolines. Lots of colour and layers of planting. Herb gardens and a veg patch to get creative with the kids. BBQ area, patio, decking, the perfectly maintained lawn

Im sure ive missed stuff out,, but the idea is that its all about family

(She/ her) in Sensualityland

A very modern house, energy efficient with big windows allowing plenty of natural light. Marble or stone floor, absolutely no carpet anywhere in the house and the sofas and chairs in leather, again no soft furnishing. Minimalistic in style, comfortable with all wireing hidden from site and ehibiting an air of calm elegance. Colours would be in white and off white hues with only a few colour highlights eg a picture on the wall. Under floor heating, of course and the best music system throughout the entire house.

We would like an old farm house with about 100 acres so I can play with my lorry , Range Rovers and buy a few tanks and stuff.

It would have a heated and clean workshop with top of the range equipment so I can do all the restoring .

The house would be old and full of character but with a modern kitchen etc.

An indoor swimming pool in a glass house like the palm house at Kew.

There would be camping grounds for naturists and also a area put by for swinging parties with hot tubs and playrooms etc.

Also would have cows and sheep .

But the most important thing would be a part of the house that would be what we live in now just translocated so that we go there and remember how bloody hard it was before .

Lots of the things already mentioned here would be in my dream house.

I'd also have an infinity pool (the house may need to be in Monaco, by the way).

... and a go-kart track.

... and my own hot air balloon and pilot with driver to collect me after we've landed.

... and a bowling alley with an area for some old pinball machines and some classic coin-op video games.... with an old fashioned Wurlitzer jukebox too, but one that plays CDs not records.

... and in the woodland area in the grounds I'd build a treetop assault course like you get at Go Ape. During the week it'd be open to local schools to use but on the weekend it'd be all mine.

Did you just steal that idea from my head? Get out woman!!

I'd add to Aphrodites description above that the house would have to be completely self reliant, no connection to the utility companies at all, not connected to the grid and fully solar powered. All waste is automatically recycled for the house to use and I'd have touchpads everywhere to control everything from the lights to entertainment systems to heating systems and power outlets. I'd have a scanner in the kitchen so that when I run out of something I scan the barcode and it automatically updates my shopping cart online.

I'd have a dungeon too.
