Anyone else out here scaring folk?

Would you say no thanks to someone if they’re not for you or would you just ignore & move on?

If I'd been speaking to someone for a bit I probably wouldn't ignore, I'd say something polite but clear.

It's really difficult though sometimes because - people can look far better in person and awful in photos. So sometimes I'd rather give someone a chance if we get on well.

Politely tell them they're not my type, we're all adults at the end of the day. You can't be everyone's cup of tea.

I've had guys fab my pics, go to look at the profile and I'm blocked, just take everything on here with a pinch of salt.

If I’m interested in someone sexually I would always exchange pics early on. If there’s no attraction from either side there’s very little point carrying on the conversation and I always make that clear, politely.

If it’s for friendship then it doesn’t matter to me what anyone looks like, as long as they’re being themselves

Completely agree! If they are chatty & witty via message they will probably be like that in person - it doesn't have to go any further than a social if you're really not feeling it after that.

One playmate is quite hairy from the neck down so I like that. But again I think some women told him to have it all off.

We were in the club discussing body hair and he said oh well you know women don't like hairy men. I put my hand up and said Well you very well know I like your hairy chest! The next guy over in the club jacuzzi said he was going to laser remove his pubes. To be fair he had a pubic tattoo so.....

We do both…sometimes we reply and sometimes we just let it fade into the message black hole.

We’ve had both done to us too so I think it’s fairly standard.

Mainly we’ll reply…although if someone has sent their face pic without us asking/chatting then we’ll just delete.

It’s harder when it’s couples and one’s attractive and the other isn’t

At the end of the day we all can’t be for everyone so we take it on the chin and we’d expect others to do so too.

I bet you're not bad looking. You might not be someone's cup of tea but hey, you might be someone's slice of cake!

I am quite particular about face pics. I like to know who I'm talking to, once the convo starts and I'm interested. I had too many men not showing me what they looked like, been also catfished in the past. So sorry, but it's just nice to know if there is any attraction forming and face is very important to me.

As for the part, where you politely decline someone based on their face pic or not. I do try to be always upfront and I politely say how I feel.

Central

Most people are not mutually compatible with most other people. It typically takes several rounds of mutual messaging, where revealed details cancel interest. And facial attraction is going to be essential for most people. Thus once shown, it's natural for an immediate end to the chat to arrive, for most of the chats.

If you have realistic expectations, all of this is factored in. If not, you will repeatedly give yourself what is avoidable pain.

Invest effort broadly.

It's hard isn't it? We can't be everyone's cup of tea but it still feels a bit personal.

Attraction is a strange thing, I've had meets where I wasn't sure if the attraction was fully there but I've taken a chance because we've gotten along well and it's been awesome.

And times where the physical attraction is there but the social has gone a bit wrong because there's no spark.

It never hurts to be polite though, that's just good manners.

Face pic? Yes of course here’s me…ghosted

I’m not that bad am I

Would you say no thanks to someone if they’re not for you or would you just ignore & move on? "

I always say no thanks if they're not for me, and to be fair I've never had a nasty reply to saying no thanks..

That being said, ive been ghosted plenty of times after sending a face pic so that may indicate that ive a face like a bull dog licking pi*s off a thistle... Lol

Pumpkin always asks to exchange face pics pretty early on. She has hers public so that hopefully people can save themselves the trouble of messaging if they don’t find her attractive in the first place. If she’s not attracted then it’s a very polite ‘not for us thanks’ x

"I’ve long been aware that I have one of those faces that really only seems to appeal to a small minority of people and I’ve got used to that over time so yes I’m sure I’m scaring people off on a daily basis!"

I think you're handsome and I'd of thought you would be popular with your looks.

"… But the majority consensus among the fab women is that they don't like beards.

Wait, what? Really? Nobody told me …

Or me

What do we stroke if there is no beard?

The ego if available

Prefer stroking the hairy bits.

Someone with alopecia is out then

"

It's a preference not a deal breaker. I have been with non-hairy men. Black and East Asian men often do not have a lot of body hair. Been with bald men also.

arms and legs but nowt wrong with a tug on the pubic hair of a man. I probably draw the line at hairy balls if he wants me to lick them. I prefer my labia hair-free otherwise gets caught in the knicker elastic!!

I guess it is awkward for them, no one wants to hear, you look terrible. So I don't mind if they just disappear to be honest....

Unfortunately I get told I look better in real life so am at a definite disadvantage online.

Each to their own.

I love ladies with hairy bits I find it a massive turn on

So I know where you're coming from.. "

I just keep the strip/triangle... can't be scaring/scarring the kids at the local swimming pool with it coming out the sides of the swimsuit. lol!

Seen that once on the beach in Nice with an Italian Family. The Mom was pregnant. My pregnant friends went and got waxed since they couldn't reach around the bump. lol!

This is pretty much my Fab journey haha.

Personally I wouldn't just ghost/block which I've had. I think that's more disrespectful than politely letting somebody know you're not for them. I actually had that response, and it felt more dignified. Even for an Ogre like me

I've had guys fab my pics, go to look at the profile and I'm blocked, just take everything on here with a pinch of salt.

Oh I absolutely do… it’s a thread posted in jest …just wondered if people just ghost or say ‘not for me’ "

I often say, not for me thanks.

I'm trying to convey its my attraction to them that's not there, not their attractiveness in general.

If that makes sense?
