4 types of intelligence

I just read an article about 4 types of intelligence.

IQ rational, analytic intelligence.

EQ emotional intelligence.

SQ social intelligence, how well do you build social connections and networks?

AQ adversity intelligence, how well do you deal with rough times and problems.

So what’s your dominant Q? Which one do you rely on most to get through life right now?

Interesting...though there's a quote by Francois Mauriac that says " The highest sign of intelligence is doubt".

But in the spirit of the game I'd put mine as emotional.

Carlisle usually

I think most of my strength is in the rational. Socially would be the weakest absolutely.

Intelligence is IQ, the others are emotional characteristics.

Definitely IQ. Out of interest, does the article show much difference between the sexes and the old emotion/ration debate, or is the disparity a whole myth?

The article I read didn’t, though I’ve read other sources which said women typically demonstrate a higher AQ. But perhaps women are better at leveraging SQ in adversity?

Do you think that is true ? If it is true do you think it's down to biological factors or cultural experience ? Come to think of it - how is it even measured ?

I would say mine is equally balanced between all 4. Has taken 40 years plus to get there though

I’ve no idea if it’s true, or even plausible. But did make me think of that quip about women being like teabags - you don’t know how strong they are until they’re in hot water. Which is quite fun.

I'd like to think I balance IQ and EQ pretty well, have experienced and survived plenty of adversity but not lining up for more. Social intelligence is hampered by being introverted and not liking people very much on the whole.
