Normal chat, leading to…

I’m getting a bit tired of this place. A nice normal chat with a mutual friend would be good. It may well lead to something more but can’t we just start normally?

Or am I simply getting old?

I know what you mean. Personally I find the messaging system on Fab a bit clunky- it would be great if there was a more instant messaging service. We are quite lazy about logging into fab for messages and chat. Much easier to chat with folk on WhatsApp etc. We prefer to chat with people for a bit to see how we get on and like you we find that lots of folk aren't up for that

I know what you mean. Personally I find the messaging system on Fab a bit clunky- it would be great if there was a more instant messaging service. We are quite lazy about logging into fab for messages and chat. Much easier to chat with folk on WhatsApp etc. We prefer to chat with people for a bit to see how we get on and like you we find that lots of folk aren't up for that

Yup I know. We might occasionally post about a random meet but generally we are looking to actually get to know people that we could have something regular with. These people seem very few and far between

What you’re looking for is quite rare, so the usual % of compatible people will dwindle down to a small handful. Unfortunately, you just gotta be patient and hope come across the right people. But, you’ll probably have to wade through a whole raft of incompatible ones first.

We would love to get to know single guys, but we had to block them from messaging because the number of crude and disrespectful messages weren't really our thing, which is a shame because it spoils it for the genuine guys like you. Will definitely keep you in mind

I've found this site frustrating at times.

Like people have said, the messaging is clunky and a lot of people don't want to give their WhatsApp etc. Which I totally understand because if some people on here, who just abuse someone if they don't hear what they want.

Makes it even harder for people who just want a normal chat and hoping it leads to something more.

You could leave cams off and chat that way.

There are other ways too without giving too much away - with a little added tech I mean.

I will often chat with people if they've sent a message that they had put some effort in to, but 9 times out of 10 they try to turn the conversation sexual.

Anyone I've met off here has been through just chatting normally I don't do sex chat on here because so many do just look for wank material and nothing else. So if someone is constantly pushing for sex talk I just stop chatting.

Id guess that 90% of the chats that start with show us yer tits or heres my knob - what you think? Dont end as theyd expected.

I find if you treat here like you would a pub meeting- chatting like 2 normal people would - you either engage with each other or you don’t and it may or May not evolve into meeting in Person and you see if there’s a spark.

Messaging sex straight away seems a bit like desperation to me.
