How do you watch TV shows?

Do you have that sacred pact that they MUST be watched together, no exceptions? Must one have to endure and avoid spoilers etc while they wait for the other so it can be watched together?

Do you have shows you endure for your partner and watch with them?

This goes out to couples, but also singles that when in a relationship how does the above apply?

it was always masterchef.. sad as it sounds pretending we could cook even half as good, and getting ideas for new dinners we thought we'd try and make, but then never did.

and the F1.. we'd videocall and watch it together if we weren't at home at the same time, so we could enjoy it together.

My ex was Master of the Remote and we watched whatever he wanted to watch.

Back then we didn't have the choice we had now so, if there wasn't any sport to watch he would buy a film from Sky and we would watch it on repeat.

Being someone who isn't a television watcher it didn't bother me, plus, I like sport and films

We have shows we watch together and shows we watch apart. Mr N waits until I go out to watch some stuff because he knows I hate it.

Ha! That's what happens in this house. When Jack Reacher came on last night I took a book in to the bedroom.

Call the midwife has departed so far from the original book which I read years ago that even I might stop watching it though.

The boss said similar about how different it is to the book, I just find it teeth grindingly irritating

It has become so I fear and eye rollingly predictable. I watch now just because it was my mum's favourite and I sort of feel I'm watching on her behalf

I did catch some of it in the very early days, but it now comes across as patronising and cloyingly nauseous..

Hey ho, thank fek for social media and literary distractions..

We have shows that we watch together, and Hubster has things that he watches himself (Discovery stuff and Marvel / DC)

I'm not a big TV watcher or film watcher. I'd rather read a book most of the time

We will indeed watch Love Island together later and no one is taking one for the team! Probably 90% of what we watch is together.

when I've been in relationships I've always considered the choice of the other person, I'm not an avid TV watcher so not a problem i certainly wouldn't make somebody watch something they didn't want to watch and visa versa

We find we get bored of tv shows really quickly and don’t finish them. So it tends to be high quality action films like Tango and Cash, Cobra, Aliens etc… or porn lol

He watched Taskmaster once without me. Gutted. Bloody love Taskmaster and it's not the same watching it alone.

We rarely find stuff we want to watch together, especially a series. If we've found something, one of us has usually started watching it so we don't tell the other one what's going on but we don't wait for eachother either.

What Psyche means is that she's impatient and won't often wait
