If I'm swinging etc every 3 months at a minimum. If not every 12 months.

Plus always test twice in 3 months when becoming fluid bonded with a partner.

Access in scotland is very restricted since covid , but fettle do not for profit postal testing at reasonable prices

Use SHL which offers 4 tests a year and supplement with walk ins or Superdrug/Lloyds Pharmacy private online testing service for the "big four" as necessary in between. I always do vag, anal and mouth testing each time.

According to my clinic, I need to phone them to ask for another test otherwise i can get one delivered using online service every 3 months

Testing is easy, clinics, postal services, no reason not to get tests done if you want to keep a check on your sexual health.. its up to the individual what they want to do and how often though..

Post Covid I find it difficult to book test. Before it was just walk-in once every couple of months. I had to travel 30 miles this week to get tested.

Its Just shitty behaviour, especially when its people known on here for organising events at clubs!

It’s not restricted in Edinburgh. I was able to get an appointment for testing

Haha i agree. I knew.i was clean, asked someone to test to ensure they was after a meet, they then blocked me. Lol

Hence why I test monthly.

If you ask the clinical medical staff, we as swingers have a high-risk sex life along with sex workers ( who test every 2 weeks) and men who have sex with men.

Also it's easier for me to keep track of who I had sexual contact with every month than every 3 months.

Dodged a bullet there mate. I stick to one bareback partner at a time and I've always had an open conversation about it with them.

Same with contraception.

We can't just pretend that there are no consequences to sex and multiple partner sex.

Not if you are serviced by sandyford which i think is pretty much the entire west of Scotland

We cant even get appointments either unless we are presenting with symptoms since covid… its really poor level of service and must be increasing the numbers of STDs circulating

I assumed it was a Scottish nhs decision but sounds like its maybe down to nhs district
