So I have been a hopeful but lurking member of Fab Swingers for probably about 10 years, there are times when I have been either a Silver or Gold member and times when I’ve been neither. About 3 months ago I let my silver membership lapse as I couldn’t see what extra I was getting for my money. I really only ever looked at updates and read the forums.

Whilst a fully paid up member I would get ‘viewed’ about once a month, if lucky twice a month a lot of the time not at all. Now I’ve dropped to basic membership I’m getting viewed two or three times a week….. Today I received THREE views!!

So here’s the thing….. I can’t see who’s viewed me as you need to be a paid up member……

Am I being cynical to think I’m being ‘baited’ to pay to see who’s ‘viewing’ me. None of these viewings has winked or messaged….. Not that I would expect that as it has very rarely happened in the past…

Just a conspiracy thought!!

You get out what you put in. More effort = more views. And of course Fab is baiting you to upgrade - they know people want to see who looked at them, so they made it a premium feature. Personally I'm not interested - if they looked and didn't message that means they're not interested.

I've been on other sites where I definitely felt baited to pay for membership/enhancements but never on fab (prior to being a silver member or since).

I know that silver membership doesn't offer that many bells and whistles infact it's more like one bell and one whilst but these little extras do make a big difference to my Fab experience.

OP, my being viewed figures have trippled lately from 5 to around 15 a day; this could be a site wide thing and not just a devious plan by the Fab Mafia to increase paid membership?

Interesting...the past 5 days, my views have been in double figures too.
