Will be both.

They get unreasonable numbers of messages to keep track of, but also some will look at your profile first, decided, and then not open the message if they are not interested.

I don't know why everyone flatters the women . I get a fair few messages myself .. admittedly it's from people wanting to bum me or tell me I'm a prick ...but it's not just women with largely unread inboxes

We currently have 39, we look at people’s profiles who have messaged us and if they are not what we are looking for or clearly haven’t read our profile we just leave them unread.

We have been known to send the odd message. By which I mean occasional, not something bizarre.
